The Thai military began firing preemptively at Cambodian positions, firing mortars and multiple small arms in the An Se area at approximately 11:52 a.m. on September 27, 2025.

នៅព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ វេលាម៉ោងប្រមាណ ១១:៥២នាទី យោធាថៃបានចាប់ផ្តើមធ្វើការបាញ់ប្រហារមុនមកលើទីតាំងកងកម្លាំងកម្ពុជា ដោយបានបាញ់កំាភ្លើងត្បាល់និងកាំភ្លើងដៃជាច្រើន គ្រាប់មកតំបន់មូលដ្ឋានកងទ័ពកម្ពុជានៅតំបន់អានសេះ។ កងទ័ពកម្ពុជាបានឈរគោលការណ៍អត់ធ្មត់ខ្ពស់និងមិនបានតបតទៅវិញទេ។ រហូតមកដល់ម៉ោងនេះ ភាគីថៃនៅបន្តបាញ់ប្រហារមកលើកងទ័ពកម្ពុជា មិនទាន់បញ្ឈប់នៅឡើយទេ។

On the morning of September 27, 2025, at approximately 11:52 a.m., the Thai military began to fire preemptively at the positions of the Cambodian forces, firing mortars and small arms at the Cambodian army base in the An Ses area. The Cambodian army maintained a high level of restraint and did not retaliate. Up to this time, the Thai side has continued to fire at the Cambodian army and has not stopped.
The Cambodian forces would like to reaffirm their firm commitment to fully and consistently respect and implement the ceasefire agreement between Cambodia and Thailand, continuing to closely cooperate at all levels and seeking practical cooperation to promote peace and stability between the two countries, as well as a speedy return to normalcy, and calling on the Thai side to strictly implement and respect the same.
